Al Gore talks about the Environment (1992)
June 2, 1992 – Sen. Gore, member of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, discussed the environment as a political issue, including legislation he advocates to protect the environment, and the United Nations Conference on the Environment and Development which begins June 3 in Brazil.
Sen. Gore, who will travel to Brazil to observe the conference, said the world was embarking on a new chapter of civilization in which concern for the environment will become concern for the survival of all mankind. https://www.c-span.org/video/?26392-1/environment-justice-act-rio-earth-summit
