June 2, 1992 – Environment Justice Act and Rio Earth Summit Sen. Gore, member of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, discussed the environment as a political issue, including legislation he advocates to protect the environment, and the United Nations Conference on the Environment and Development which begins June 3 in Brazil.
