Vermont organic farmer Will Allen (and author of The War on Bugs) used Soil Reef biochar in different places and in different application rates at his Cedar Circle farm.

He found the growth differences in his sunflowers and beans to be very significant.

    Guys. Really? You’re comparing a treatment to a previous years crop? C’mon now. There are way too many variables that are gonna affect your crop to say ‘it was the biochar’. Next time divide your plot up in sections and apply the scientific method.
