Update: YouTube (again) Removes Climate Science Channels
Climate State
YouTube again removed the Climate State channel from their platform on December 6th 2023, citing their spam, deceptive practices and scams policy.
The channel featured two NASA videos which had been uploaded around a year ago, one video about the Antarctica ice-sheet, and one about global warming by latitude.
The reason for the upload was, we couldn’t find these videos by a quick search.
A third video was created by Climate State featuring the recent King Charles speech at Dubai.
Earth Climate
On December 8th 2023 YouTube removed our newly created channel (in good standing) Earth Climate, again citing the spam, deceptive practices and scams policy.
The channel featured a new video created by Climate State, check it out here.
Summary
YouTube started to remove the Climate State channel a couple of years ago, always citing spam & scam. At a time when the channel was perhaps the largest channel created for climate science.
Today, someone is following our video productions, but solely with the intend to report us, to censor climate science, and someone or some AI at YouTube is lacking judgement.
Good news is You can support Climate State by becoming a Patreon, this will help us to bring you more content.
Bottom line, we will publish more videos in the months ahead.
Update
YouTube has returned both our channels to the internet. Reminder, our ~30.000 subscribers, and over 1000 Climate State videos are still missing.
Hurray, You can now follow Climate State and Earth Climate again on YouTube.
