- A powerful Nor’Easter is forming off the East Coast of the U.S., while temperatures in Florida outpace those in Anchorage, Alaska. Meanwhile powerful storms swept through western Europe, France, the U.K., Ireland, Netherlands, and Germany. One difference are the rather mild temperatures in Europe compared to U.S. Arctic cold.
